In honour of her Mother, Martyne chose to celebrate their nuptials following the Jewish tradition. I love the personal, precious touches they included in the ceremony, including all the yammi’s being hand made by Martyne’s special nanny who she has loved since childhood, and the very thoughtful hand fans and bottles of water provided by the venue. I loved how relaxed and intimate this ceremony was, and as a non-Jew, it was exquisite to learn of the symbolism of some of the rituals. What a beautiful ceremony! I shed more than a few tears for this one!
